Round 5 Dominos ‘Hotshot of the week’
We are excited to announce our ‘Hotshots of the Week’ for Round 5, thanks to Domino’s Tura Beach!
Our first weekly winner(s) are the Hodge brothers, Tom, Sam and Will!
It became a bit of a family affair at Narooma on Saturday, with the three Hodge brothers playing together for the first time in a senior game. The Hodge family has been a big part of the Narooma Lions for years, with each of the brothers coming up through the juniors at the club, and it is fantastic to see they finally got to represent their club together at senior level!
To make things even better for the family, they even topped the day off with a win!

The second winner for round 5 is Ally Crowe, from the Eden Whalers!
Ally has just played her 50th game for Eden Women’s Team. She is also the first player to reach 50 games in the Women’s grade!
She started as a junior player, then went to umpiring when there was no team for her to play in, Ally started youth girls rep footy before the AFL Sapphire Coast women’s league started . Since then she has helped develop the clubs junior grades through running Auskick, won Premierships and Volunteer Awards and has been around our club since birth – all this and she’s only 20!
She follows in her families footsteps around the club and is always offering help, no job too big or too small. Even though she has moved away, she still drives back every weekend to play!
She is the player every club dreams of, she plays, helps, is on the committee, works with juniors, runs water and is a pleasure to have around!

Congratulations to the Hodge brothers and Ally for their achievements both on and off the field and we thank you for your dedication to your clubs and the league.
