2020 AFL Sapphire Coast Season is GO!
After much uncertainty due to COVID-19, AFL Sapphire Coast is excited that we will see competition commence on Saturday, 18 July providing opportunities for male and female footballs of all ages to play in 2020! Pleasingly, all eight clubs have elected to participate in the season with similar team numbers to 2019 also expected.
On the back of recent Government announcements on the easing of restrictions, and following Club Delegate Meetings we are pleased to confirm 2020 Season Dates.
AFL Sapphire CoastÂ
Round 1 for the seven grades, plus Auskick, will commence on Saturday, 18 July.
All grades will play an 8 round home and away season followed by a two week final series with the Grand Final to be played on Saturday, 19 September.
Team nominations for each grade are due by Friday, 26 June, from which all competition structures will be confirmed and the fixturing process commenced with the aim of releasing final fixtures by Friday, 10 July.
