AFL NSW/ACT seeking Community Football Manager

AFL NSW/ACT is seeking applications for the position of Community Football Manager – South Coast.

This new position is on the back of significant community football growth within the greater South Coast region (encompassing AFL Sapphire Coast and AFL South Coast leagues), where participation numbers have significantly increased in recent years, and obviously supports the AFL NSW/ACT strategic themes, in particular delivering quality experiences with a focus on community football.

This is an exciting addition to the South Coast team structure which will see the successful candidate oversee community football for both the AFL South Coast and AFL Sapphire Coast leagues and provide much needed support to the existing Football Operations Coordinator positions in the region.

The role oversees the operational, structural and commercial aspects of the regions senior men’s, senior women’s and junior competitions to ensure future growth and sustainability and will  also focus on ensuring that best practice governance, club support and competition management systems are in place while providing leadership and direction regarding all competition matters.
