Round 12 Domino’s “Hotshot of the Week”

We are excited to announce our ‘Hotshots of the Week’ for  Round 12, thanks to Domino’s Tura Beach.

Our first winner is AFL Sapphire Coast Journeyman, Neil Rainbow!

Neil is a well known face around the AFL Sapphire Coast, Having played for various clubs throughout his Sapphire Coast Career. He and his partner Shirley have always been first to offer their help in any way needed and are always first at the ground helping set up on game days. Neil also puts his hand up to umpire junior grades and is a well respected member of the Tathra Sea-Eagles.

This week, Neil notches up his 200th AFL Sapphire Coast game against the Bermagui Breakers at Lawrence Park in Tathra, a well earned milestone!

Congratulations Neil!

Our Second weekly winner is a young Whaler, Laurie Mudaliar!

Another AFL Sapphire Coast milestone!

Young Laurie was lucky enough to play his 50th game for the Eden Whalers against the Diggers last weekend! Laurie has worked really hard to improve his footy each week and is a fantastic example of the up and coming stars currently playing in our Junior teams. His footy career is only just beginning and hope he can continue to represent the Whalers for years to come!

Congratulations Laurie!

Well done to Neil and Laurie on being nominated for the Hotshot of the Week!

If you have someone in your club across the weekend who has a standout individual performance on the field, shows great sportsmanship, goes above and beyond off the field, or just deserves recognition for their service to their club, the umpiring group or the league generally, please nominate them by emailing Mitch a short write up, along with a photo of them.

Each weekly winner will receive a ‘Hot Shot’ pizza voucher thanks to Domino’s Tura Beach as a reward for their efforts.
