Round 8 Domino’s “Hotshot of the Week”

We are excited to announce our ‘Hotshots of the Week’ for Round 8, thanks to Domino’s Tura Beach!

 

This week we are celebrating one of the most important people in your club, The Auskick Coordinator!

Auskick is extremely important for local clubs as it provides a pathway for junior players to lead into local football. These people are helping shape our next generation AFL Sapphire Coast superstars!

 

The first winner of this week’s award is The Auskick Coordinator for the Eden Whalers, Aiden Deth!

Since volunteering to take over the Auskick down in Eden at the start of the year, Aiden has overseen the massive growth in the Eden Auskick program, which included doing a power of work to promote and enhance the Auskick program, and has resulted in Eden having the highest Auskick growth on all of the Sapphire Coast!

Well done Aiden, a well deserved reward!

 

 

Our second winner is from a bit further north, Bermagui’s Auskick coordinator, Maddy Barry!

Also in her first year as an Auskick Coordinator, Maddy has embraced the challenge and is seeing great results!

After partnering with the local ‘Kickability’ program, Maddy has been able to bring a whole new level of excitement and energy back to Auskick in Bermagui. Thanks to Maddy’s hard work, participant numbers are also growing, with the center enjoying the rewards with lots of players coming to enjoy the program each week!

Auskick certainly has a bright future in Bermagui, thanks to Maddy’s hard work!

 

Congratulations to the Aiden and Maddy for their achievements off the field and on it (both are key players in their respective teams) we thank you for your dedication to your clubs and the league.

 

If you have someone in your club across the weekend who has a standout individual performance on the field, shows great sportsmanship, goes above and beyond off the field, or just deserves recognition for their service to their club, the umpiring group or the league generally, please nominate them by emailing Mitch a short write up, along with a photo of them.

 

Each weekly winner will receive a ‘Hot Shot’ pizza voucher thanks to Domino’s Tura Beach as a reward for their efforts.
